Is The Urine Infection With The Bacteria Escherichia Coli Curable?

i was on cathedral for 2 months and i am suffering from urinary infection. routine report reveals lot of puss cellss and culture report reveals escherichia coli isolated. I am 65 years old. Due to spinal injury I was bedridden for 2 months. My querry is whether the infection is curable. how long will it take.

Yes urinary tract infection is mainly caused by bacteria E.coli. This is completely curable with the use of antibiotic. A full course of antibiotic for about 7 days is needed for cure.
