Is The Lump On The Forehead Of My 1-year-old A Cause For Concern?
Hello, My daughter (1yearold) was walking holding on to our couch and she slipped and hit her head and developed a small bump on her forehead... It s been about three weeks and the bump is somewhat noticeable at the touch. Should I be worried is this something I should take her to see her pediatrician? Will it fade away?
Your child can have bruise secondary to trauma. If there no other clinical symptoms than no need to worry. It will go away within few days. You can apply ice wrapped cloth over the bump for three times a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
