Hi,
Depending upon the intensity of injury, it can be reason for bald spot on that area. When injured area healed with scar formation, hair in that area is also lost. Now if the intensity of injury in that spot is that much which created a laceration and it healed with scar formation. It can be the reason for the bald spot. If there is no scar formation, then there should be some other reason which is causing this. Need to explore that with your skin doc.
