Is The Bleeding During Bowel Movement Due To Piles?

Hello Doc, I m 27 year old male. When i was pooping i saw some blood drops on the toilet seat, and in the toilet water it was red in color. Its happened twice in the last week. I have never experienced something like this before. I m quite worried about this. Is this the symptoms of Piles? I m an Islam and Its Ramadan, so I have been fasting since last 20 days. So does it affects anyways in this regard? George.

Yes...bleeding in stools is one of the symptoms of piles or hemorrhoids..but as you said that it was Ramadan and you were fasting so this could also may be the reason for bleed in stool.as fasting increases body heat...but regular bleeding in stools may be the reason not only for piles but also for fissures and fistula and many others....but if the problem increases you should check with your physician
