Is Taking Meftal Spas Recommended During Breastfeeding?

i delivered a baby boy past 45 days .. After delivery this is for the first time i am going to have my regular periods ...Initial 2 days i always experience stomach pain , for which i used to take meftal spas...

My question is ,, is it safe for the baby if i take meftal spas now ??

Hi, Thanks for asking.
In my opinion Mefenemic acid which is the content of Meftal spas is safe when taken by a mother who i breast feeding. The other content which is dicyclomine in meftal spas is to be used with caution in children below 1 yr of age. But its transfer in breast milk is limited and so can be used sagely during the breast feeding.
