Hello, The fluoroscopic guided injection is used to inject steroid or medicine directly into the joint or affected area. It is done by an ultrasound to guide the needle. It is given for therapeutic relief from discomfort & pain. It effectively reduces musculoskeletal pain involving tendons, ligaments or sheaths. Every patient is different, while some do not experience side effects and show a healthy response to the procedure done.
