Is Taking Wysolone Safe For Treating Nephrotic Syndrome In A Toddler?

My daughter 2 yr 9 month, was detected with Nephrotic Syndrome, for 30 day we had given tablets wysolone 10 mg @ 1-1-1. Now she is okay, and protine is not found in her urine too... Tomorrow doctor suggested to give 3tablets at a time i.e. 0-3-0 alternate days. Is it s okay? And will not be over dose to her.

Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM

It is ok to switch her to Wysolone 10 mg 0-3-0 regimen on alternate days. Her doctor is trying to taper down the Wysolone to safely discontinue the medication.

Hope this answers your question
