Is Taking Primolut-N Advisable To Avoid Vaginal Bleeding During Pregnancy?
I had polycystic ovaries and the doctor administered Metformin to help the baby develop.I started bleeding last week and to stop the bleeding i rushed to the nearest phamarcy and they gave me primolut to stop the bleeding.If im 4 months pregnant will it affect the baby?please help

At the earliest, you need to consult an obstetrician for ultrasonography so see the status of the fetus. Also, in threatened abortion, a woman requires complete rest to prevent any such further episodes.
Primalut is progestin and helps in stopping vaginal bleeding however it is important to know the status of the pregnancy through an Ultrasonographic scan at the earliest.
