Is Surgical Intervention Required When The Endometrium Is Thick And Suggestive Of Blood Clots And Maybe Retained Products Of Conception?

I had a miscarriage, after 3 weeks I go for ultrasound and it shows that I had a slightly enlarged retroverted uterus w/ thickened endometrium suggestive of blood, blood clots and/or retained products of conception, and my endometrium shows 14mm thick. Do I need a surgical intervention or D&C?

Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details. From the information given, it appears that a D & C is needed to remove the clots and clean up the uterine cavity. That should help. No other surgical intervention is needed. Your gynec should be able to guide and get it done. Thanks.
