Is Surgery Needed For A 4 Year Old For The Increased Eyesight?

Hi doctor, My daughter is 4 and half years old. I want to know if eyes surgery is a must- as presently her eye sight is (-11) in right eye and (-13.5) in left eye and the left eye even has a squint- estoropia.

She has squint in left eye. Power has increased for left eye in 1 year (-1 more than before)

Is MRI report a must to take before surgery?

Kindly suggest the procedure and time required for surgery and recuperation.

Also please suggest what would be the tentative cost of the surgery. Also kindly throw some light on the following questions:

Is an operation must?

What is best time for operation?

Postponing will have any effects?

How many days we need to keep the eyes covered?

How much time it takes to resume normal life?

How many days we need to take extra care?

I am from Delhi. Kindy suggest the best opthalmologist in Delhi for this

it is pathological myopia. no surgery can correct itasfar as posible give corection.you have to wait till she is 25 yeas ofage power is stabilized then refractive sur gery can be planed. how ever you can refractive surgeon for any other alternative.
