Is Surgery For Fibroids Safe During Pregnancy?

My wife has a fibroids, unfortunately she is pregnant. Our is not sure if the pregnancy can survive. Is it recommended to have operation for fibroids in this time of pregnancy? What should we do save our pregnancy?Thank you in advance for your advice. Pamba, S Tanzania, East Africa

Hi, I think you should avoid surgery for fibroid until she delivers.There may be chance of miscarriages if surgery is done during pregnancy. Discuss with your doctor regarding this.
