General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to hcm,
Loop around the neck is common in babies in utero. During the baby movements the loop will be corrected most of the times. As you have oligohydrominos there is difficult for baby movements and chances of getting cord around the neck is difficult. So your doctor as advised for c section as it's difficult for the labour to progress and may lead to any difficulty for the baby.

Thank you
