Is Strong Pins And Needles In Arms And Wrist After Having Electric Shock Normal?

I have just had an electric shock after using a hair appliance, the barrel of the appliance was wet but I did not realise this at first, when using the appliance I felt two relatively strong shocks up my arm, I now have strong pins in needles in my hand and most of the way up my arm, my wrist also seems to be seizing up and I feel slightly nauseous, is this normal? Should I seek medical attention?

Hi,
These symptoms indicate a need to go to the ER. This would be the safest course of action. The doctor may wish to do an EKG and blood tests.
Regards,
