Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having a pain in my right side for a few montbs now associated with painful intercourse. My Dr performed an internal along with an ultrasound. Was told they found a solid mass about the size of a mans fist. Then had to have a pelvic abdominal Ct scan with and without contrast. I am being referred to a Gynecological Oncologist. What are your thoughts?
It may be malignant. You must get it checked further. You haven't told anything about your menstrualflow. If it is heavy, then the chances of having malignancy increase. Though even benign tumours do that. Further investigations required.
