Is Smelling Furnace With Old Oil Leak Harmful To Inhale In Pregnancy?
Our furnace had an oil leak about 2 weeks ago. We had it fixed. However, the leak absorbed into the plywood and insulation surrounding the furnace. When the furnace kicks on, you can smell the old oil that has been absorbed. I am approx. 6 weeks pregnant. Is this harmful to my unborn baby?
hi.This is certainly harmful. Any chemical or smell offumes can have harmful effect on your baby at 6 weeks,.Try to avoid it. You may use mask while working and also gloves. There can be some congenital anomalies or allergy problems in the unborn with exposure to such things. So, better to avoid them. Thanks.
