Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a stress test to check my heart and another test that takes pictures before and after the test. The doctor said everything was ok. I also wore a heart monitor for 4 weeks with a couple of events recorded. The problem before the test was, my heart was pounding out of my chest when I would walk fast. Not every time but enough for me to worry [about a week and a half]. Now I m back on night shift and my heart felt like it was skipping a beat when I went to bed. My question is, should I go back to the doctor or just chalk it up to fatigue?
It seems that you are having a rhythm disturbance problem. Do you take any medicine? It may occur due to your congenital problem or heart block in which the beats are skipping. You should thoroughly be examined and investigated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
