Is Sinus Infections And Low Neutrophils Related?

I am a 35 y/o female. I have been suffering w/recurrent sinus/upper respiratory infections for the past 5 months, ever since my toddler started daycare and started bringing home all the sicknesses. I just had a CBC and the doctor noted low neutrophils, but said the rest of the WBC counts were normal. Could the sinus infections be the cause of the low neutrophils or is it most likely the other way around?

Thanks you.

HI,
Neutrophils protect our body from attack of infecting germs. Your recurrent sinusitis can be attributed to low neutrophils resulting in low resistance.
Actually, any infection causes increased demand of neutrophils for fighting with the germs. So the neutrophills are increased.
What you need is treatment of sinusitis & also treatment to raise resistance ( with high protein, iron, vitamin enriched diet)
Thanks.
