Is Red Mark In Eye After An Injury A Matter Of Concern In A Toddler?

Hi there, My 3 year old poked himself in the eye yesterday, and now there is a red mark (in the white area) that I assume is a broken blood vessel? He does not seemed bothered at all by it, nor does he complain of any discomfort. Do I need to be worried about this? Best, Heather

You are right. This is called subconjunctival haemorrhage...it might sound scary..but it will heal on its own.
