Is Realigning Of Dislocated Finger Necessary For Healing?
I dislocated my finger and went in to get an xray. It is not broken they said and told me to just tape it and use ice and gave me finger exercises. I read that it should be re-aligned or re-set and this was never done and the middle joint is crooked yet after 3 weeks of healing and exercises. Do you know if they should have realigned the finger and if it will always be crooked as it has been 3 weeks now and I cannot straighten it even with pressure on it as it is very painful. HELLO,welcome to HCM.In x-ray it has come normal ,no fracture.So now as ther was no mobilisation from past 3 weeks,stifness is there.Start doingvery little slow movements even there is pain.It will take time to come back to normal.Take care
