Is Raw Chest And Sore Throat While Being Off Omeprazole A Cause For Concern?
I was on omeprazole for about 20 years for acid reflux. My Dr. has encouraged me to try to cut down or, if possible, totally stop taking it. I started trying to stop in July 2014 and have been taking DGL licorice root extract. It s been very tough but it seems to be getting better. About once every two weeks, I feel like my chest is raw. Sort of like a sore throat feels. Should I worry about this?

you are having omiprazol for prety long time. consult gastroenterologist and may have to go for surgery.
