Is Prolonged Intake Of Concerta Advisable To A Child?

Hi, I am wondering what the side effects are if a child is taking concerta on regular bases at one household and then when he is visiting his other parent, that parent doesn t give him the pills for the 2 days, are there side effects to the child? Never mind I am not paying to get answer I can look up or call a doctor and get for free

I suggest you check the child's heart rate. It should not get decreased.
Is the child depressed/extremely tired/having a headache.
You should take care of the above features whether they are showing up or not.
Continue the drug as per doctor's advise.
Try not to withdraw this medicine suddenly.
