Is Pregnancy Possible While On Regestrone?

Doctor ,I m 19 year old and I am taking regestrone from 14 th feb which is my 5th day of period of that month ..... Because I m consulted a doctor because my period are getting late .. so she advice me regestrone to take from 5th day of the period till 21 days.. and said to don t missed it ,and to take a single pill a day, and one more medicine name -evecare(Himalayan) of 3 months course. And I have unprotected sex on 18 the Feb.. within. Taking these pills.... Still I don t test ... About pregnancy...... Can you tell I d there any chance on pregnancy....... Please doctor .... Answer..

Hi,

Since you are on hormone pill, the possibility of pregnancy is very less. You also had sex in a safe period of your cycle. So the possibility of pregnancy is very less. But all contraceptive measures including oral pills do have failure rates.

So get done urinary pregnancy test if you miss your next period. Better to avoid unprotected Intercourse if you don't want pregnancy and use a condom.
