Is Pregnancy Possible Due To A Delayed Period?

Hi, I am 15 years old. I recent had my friend who is a boy over and we did stuff. I think I might be pregnant. I Gave him a hand job and then fingered myself with sperm on my hand. Is it possible for me to be pregnant. I am also 12 days late on my period. Help?

Hello, and I hope I can help you today.

Even though contact of your genital area with sperm can put you at risk for pregnancy, semen dies when it is exposed to air. Therefore, it would be very unusual to see pregnancy in someone from semen transferred on your hand.

The safest thing, however, is to buy and perform an over-the-counter pregnancy test and follow the package directions.

I hope I was able to adequately answer your question today and that my advice was helpful.

Best wishes,

Dr. Brown
