Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Oral Contraceptive?

Hi. On the 23rd May the last day of my period my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex where he ejaculated inside me. The next day I took the morning after pill postinor. I was expecting my period last week. Now I understand that the morning after pill usually delays your menstruation cycle. But the month of June is almost over with 2 days remaining and I have got no signs of period. I am experiencing tenderness/sensitivity in my nipples of my breasts, on and off slight cramps, nausea on and off, fatigue. Could I be pregnant?? I took a pregnancy test Friday 26th June which came back negative. Could I be pregnant still??

Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
The possibility of pregnancy is very low basing on the time you have had your intercourse and the emergency pill you have taken. But it does't mean it is impossible. Tenderness and sensitivity of breasts is known and may occur just before your period starts so it may be ready to come in a couple of days. Anyway you must redo the pregnancy test about 10 days after your missed expected period if it delays.
I hope this answer was helpful to you!
