Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking A Contraceptive Pill?

Hi doc, I took nordette 21 as ECP. 2:17pm I took the first dosage of 4 pills right after the day i had contact. Then I took 4 pills again for the 2nd dosage exactly 2:17am. I vomit a small quantity minutes after taking the 2nd dose. And after an hour, i vomitted again, an hour passed and I vomited again a lot. I am afraid I vomitted the pills and it will not take effect. I took 1 pill 5:15pm on the same day bacause I m too paranoid. Should i retake the dosage again from the first? Or just take another 4 pills for the 2nd dose that i vomitted? Pls answer Asap. Thanks.

Hi,

You are afraid to have vomited 2nd dose. That way also if you had conceived. You need to get aborted after the pills already taken. So you can take an extra dose of 4 more pills immediately to avoid conception.

Please take the pills after food & accompany them with Tab. Ranitidine over the counter.

In case you are still vomiting. Take a prick from your family doctor before taking the pills. Mostly you would bleed after the pills. If not get tested for pregnancy &if +ve get aborted.
