Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Taking Tricylen Pill?

My period is 4 days late. I am on a new tricylen birth control( just last month) and I always get my period either right when I start my placebo pills(28 pack) or the day after. I would not be usually worried as I always take my birth control on time, but I have been on antiobiotics for 9 days now and had unprotected sex not long ago... should I get a pregnancy test now or wait a few days since I m only 4 days late...

Hi, I think you should do a urine pregnancy test at home now. It will clear your doubt. if positive, consult a doctor if you don't want pregnancy. If negative, wait for your periods for one more week and repeat the test. Antibiotics affect the efficacy of birth control pills. So you need to take extra precaution.
