Is Pregnancy Possible Despite Bleeding During That Period?

I read that you can bleed but still be pregnant. But that it s light spotting or light flow. But I ve also read the difference with menstrual blood and implantation that there is no clots in implantation. I don t know if I m getting the terms right here. So is it possible to be pregnant and bleeding? And when is it a good time to take a pregnancy test? Can you still take a test, be bleeding and get a result? I m just been so nauseous. My stomach has this ticklish feeling from the top of my stomach all the way down to my lower abdomen and in my vagina. Very, very uncomfortable. I m on my period I guess. My blood is bright red and has clots. I havent hit my heavy flow . Im going lighter. But I m on my 2nd day. What do you think?

Hi,
Thanks for writing to HCM.
To suspect that you have conceived, you need to miss the period. You may feel some symptoms like nausea, tiredness and vomiting.
Once your periods have been delayed by a week , you can get your urine tested for pregnancy.
After your pregnancy test is positive, there is very rare chance that you will bleed or there will be spotting. It is not a good sign to bleed after positive pregnancy test as it indicates miscarriage.
