Is Pregnancy Possible After Missing Dose Of Microgestin?

Last month I was on Microgestin 1.5/30 and this month is switched to Blisovi. I have missed quite a few pills in the first week and have had unprotected sex quite frequently. I have not been spotting though, is that unusual? (past missed pills I have had spotting) I have taken 2 pregnancy tests and both have been negative. Although I am not due for my period for another 2 weeks, is pregnancy possible?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Pregnancy can be possible when multiple doses of microgestin are missed.
* Though pregnancy test is negative, it is mandatory to get an ultrasound of the pelvis done for confirmation and further care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
