Is Polio A Hereditary Disease?

Is a daughter of two parents who both had polio likely to have (at age 70+) any adverse medical conditions inherited from her parents? I ask the question with reference to a high school class mate who recently shows signs of poor coordination. loss of balance, interruptions in train of thought. etc. I'm not an MD but seems to me she has a brain or other nuero problems. HI
Well come to HCM
This is not the brain problem or any nervous system related problem, polio infection is not inherited one but this happens due to viral infection, some time stress condition may cause such symptoms, poor coordination, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
