Is Persistent Pink Eye In Spite Of Using Eye Drops A Cause For Concern?
My daughter has had what I think is pink eye since Thursday. It started in one eye but is now in both. Despite using polysporin eye drops for pink eye, her symptoms are still there. Is this common or should there have been marked improvement by now? Should I take her to a doctor tomorrow?

Pink eye despite using antibiotic eye-drops is not likely to be due to infection. The pink eye could be due to allergy. I suggest you to consult your ophthalmologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations for diagnosis and thus management.
