Is Oflox Safe For Child Having Loose Stools?

Hello doctor . My son has been having loose stools for three days .. After the analysis the doctor prescribed oflox for him .. He is 2 years old .. I am giving him 3 ml from tonight. Am worried because not too man good things are said about this medicine .. Pease help me
