Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,

17 months old child needs investigation if a fever lasts more than 3-5 days. If the investigation suggests typhoid fever or urinary infection then you can give ofloxacin 100 mg per day (morning 50 &evening 50).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Rajmohan, Pediatrician
