Is Numbness In Left Leg Post Fracture In Tibia And Femur Normal?

Hi, doctor, I have a quuestion regarding Intramedullary nailing. I met an accident 10 years ago and i suffered fractures in left tibia and femur. I have IM nailings inside fractured bones. Over these years I suffered too much pain and I barely walk straight. My movements are limited as I can't run, crawl, kneel, jump and even sit for log time. My left leg will be numb if i sit about 10 minutes. My question is my current affects are normal? Does those affects permanent or can I move normally as I does before the fracture?
