General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

There is always a 2 week difference between the Last menstrual period counted fetus age and ultrasound counted, as one shows the embryological age and the other shows the fetus age. So there is no confusion and both are correct at its best, one has to understand the molecular basis of the same to detail levels only.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
