General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is generally recommended to avoid physical activity, including running, after suffering a concussion. This is because physical activity can increase the risk of symptoms such as headaches or dizziness.

It is best to consult a healthcare professional or a concussion specialist for personalized advice on when it may be safe to resume physical activity. They may recommend a gradual return to activity, starting with light exercises and increasing the intensity over time. In the meantime, it is important to rest and allow your brain to heal.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
