Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Melacare is a steroid based ointment and long term use of steroid ointment can lead to severe side effects like increased pigmentation, skin thinning, pimples, inflammation, swollen veins under the skin.
I would suggest you to avoid using the steroid based cream and you can start using safer depigmentation creams like those containing Kojic acid, glycolic acid , Vitamin E and arbutin..
You should exfoliate your skin twice a week as it will help in removing clogged debris from pores and remove dead skin..
You should do cool compresses over face as it helps in shrinking the pores..
You should always apply sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
Wash your face with Salicylic acid and Glycolic acid containing facewash..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
