Is Lycored Effective In Improving Sex Drive?

My husband has been prescribed for taking lycored as now we are planning for a baby......the reason behind this prescription was that he was a smoker and wants to quit it now? I want to ask that whether these tablets also increase the semen quality and in enhancing the sexual desire?

Lycored is a lycopene multi vitamin .
The lycopene is carotenoid anti-oxidant used for stress related disease and for immunodeficiency .
There are so many claims by manufacturers that this increases sperm counts and also cure cancer etc .
But till date there is no any scientific proof that it increases sperm counts or increase sexual desire .
So this act as placebo , above all it don't have any side effects or contraindication ( except , if any allergy ).
