Is Lower Back Pain Caused Due To Osteoarthritis?

I ve been having moderate to severe low back pain since July 1. I ve seen a Urologist and had a CT scan & x-ray to check for kidney stones. The results came back showing no stones. Liver & kidneys look fine. My urine had traces of blood. I did have kidney stones 3 years ago. The Urologist isn t sure what the pain is from. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis left thumb 2 years ago and now wear a thumb immobilizer. I injured my left knee 4 yrs ago & was told arthritis is likely down the road. Not sure where to go from here. Could this be osteoarthritis in my lower back?

you are thinkind in right direction..osteoarthritis may be the cause as it also affect the spinal system. as cartilage degeneration goes on low back pain comes which may mild or sever..even walking problems may occur in late stage.
so get done your physical examination , X - RAY and orthopedic advise.
if he advise MRI SPINE then plzz do it..
