Is Light Vaginal Bleeding With Big Clot During Pregnancy Serious?
I took 2 pregnancy test and they both came out positive. I called to make an OBGYN aappointment. This is my first pregnancy. My first appointment is 09/17/2014. I am bleeding vaginal but not heavily and passed one ping pong size blood clot. I took another test after that, it s still positive. I don t have insurance to go to the Emergency Room. There s no cramps or pains. What should I do?
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. As per the description given by you, it appears as though you may have had either a threatened abortion or a complete abortion. Even if the abortion occurred, the pregnancy test still remains positive for some time as the hormone levels take time to decline. A trans-vaginal sonogram is the ideal test to detect the exact situation at this stage. Please go ahead with your consultant's appointment, but, try to contact your health care provider as soon as possible. Take absolute bed rest and do not stress. Hope this helps.
