Is Light Spotting After Intercourse Post Hysterectomy A Cause For Concern?

I am 10 weeks past hysterectomy including ovaries. DaVinci robot. I was told o was healing slow to wait 12 weeks before touching the cap with intercourse. Today it touched. I m a worry wort so i thought i would see if i should be concerned. I m lightly spotting now. Should i call my doc or just give it time to recover. It was not hard and repeated just once but hard enough to hurt.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The most probable cause of light spotting after intercourse is due to trauma to the surgical site.
The surgical site is still fragile and thus it bled on pressure applied to it during intercourse.
A clinical assessment of the surgical site is necessary.
In case there is any bleeding from the surgical site, it has to be managed appropriately.
Thus, consult your treating doctor at the earliest.

Thanks and take care
