Is Itchy And Sore Mole A Cause For Concern?

Hi, I have a mole on my back that has been there for several years. Recently it has been itchy and/or soar and seems larger than I remember. It s a little bigger than a pencil eraser. It is flat and soft on the top but the edges are are slightly rough. It is somewhat oval in shape. It s been irritated the last week or so and has bleed just a little. I have an appt with a dermatologist but not for another 2-3 weeks and it s concerning me. Thanks, Cathy

Hello cathy from my opinion I am suggesting that you may have a benign tumor at a risk of developing malignancy so please check out with a diagnostic center where they can conduct a skin biopsy to confirm the tumor.
