Is Itching In Urethra, A Symptom Of STD Or An Infection?

Hi, I have a question . I had sex three weeks ago and after my eurethra has been itching but i have had no discharge what so ever . No odor either. I feel a relief when i pee and its not a horrible bad itch . Should i be worried about an STD? Or is it just an infection?

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.

If you are sexually active, if you had unprotected sex , if you had multiple sex partners then this itchy urethra cannot be ignored. It could be a symptom for STD but not definitely a major problem.
Intra-urethral Genital Herpes or a trichomonas vaginalis infection can cause an itchy sensation inside your urethra without an obvious discharge or a burning sensation. A simple urinary examination will give a diagnosis or a clue for the diagnosis.
It is better to consult your physician and get well soon.
