Is It To Be Concerned If A Child Split Hot Water On The Head?

I have a 2 year old son , who 2 days ago went and grabbed a cup of hot water off the counter and it spilled on top of his head, there was nothing there untill today when I noticed his hair looked wet in one spot, where he spilled the hot water... it was yellow puss coming from his head,, should I be worried and take my son to the emergancy?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Yes, you should at least take him to the GP. The GP would then decide if he needs expert care. The burned skin has probably sloughed off and left behind a raw area that has got infected.
