Is It Safe To Use Marijuana During 36 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I am 36 weeks pregnant and have been using marijuana to combat nausea, migraines and anxiety throughout my pregnancy. I smoked with my first child and he is happy and healthy, however I quit smoking 2 months before giving birth to avoid him testing positive at birth. Is there a safe and effective way to flush the marijuana from my and my babies system before I go into labor so she doesn t test positive at birth?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you are 36 week pregnant and you are asking about marijuana, well when you smoke marijuana, you can feel profound and immediate effects. But once those effects are gone, marijuana metabolites remain. This means that chemical remnants of the plant are still present within your body. Marijuana can stay for months in your body depending upon many factors like basal metabolic rate , body structure , amount and frequency of taking it. It can cause premature baby, low birth weight and mentally and physically challenged baby. I would suggest you to consult gynecologist for proper examination and discuss the condition openly with him/her . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with other treatment like vitamin supplement to boost the immunity .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
