Is It Safe To Use Glycolic Acid For Redness Of Scar Caused After Abdominoplasty?
I had an abdominoplasty a year and a half ago and it heeled fine yet I was left with redness all along the scar. I have read laser will help but it is an expensive procedure. Could I use glycolic acid or hydroxy acid to peel the skin layer. Would this help at all?

Mandelic acid, Lactic acid and glycolic acid are alpha hydroxy acids used for skin care treatment.
What glycolic acid does is: PEELS OFF YOUR SKIN BY FIRST DRYING UP PIMPLES, BLACK AND WHITE HEADS. So used for acne.
Its not so widely used for your case but why not take a try. In my opinion you may use it but. To be honest, Chances of 100% satisfaction and results are not so bright.
Cautions:- it may cause some redness, itching. Also makes skin sensitive to UV light. So use cautions
