Is It Safe To Use Clindamycin Phosphate Gel For Burn Mark On Face Left From Lemon?

I have a burn mark on my face left from lemon , I used it thought it was good for lightening my skin, however left a dark scar on my face. My dermatologist gave me Clindamycin phosphate gel but I forgot t to tell her that a mark was from using lemon, I also take pills that my dermatologist gave me.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
It would be advisable not to use Clindamycin gel for the burn mark on the face what you are having.
Lime juice contains citric acid and it could burn your face.
You need to first cleanse the skin gently with warm water and moisturise.
You should try and keep the area clean by using anti-bacterial soap.
To prevent infection of the skin, you can use Neomycin with Hydrocortisone cream over the lesions.
Application of moisturizer cream or emollient creams at bedtime will be helpful in softening the skin and reducing the scar over a period of time.
