Is It Safe To Take Energy Drinks While On Diltiazem For Atrial Contraction?

As a 78-year-old woman recently diagnosed with premature atrial contraction. I take one 125 mg tab of Diltiazem daily, which seems to have my problems under control. But I always feel worn out and would like to try a 5-Hour Energy drink to see if it would give me some get-up-and-go. Given my PAC, would that be unwise? Is there likely to be any negative consequences?

Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

There will be no issue to take energy drinks while taking diltiazem for atrial contraction.Means there is no consequences if you will take both of them simultaneously.

There is no possible drug interactions between them. So,it would not be unwise.

You can consult your primary health care provider for further information.
