Is It Safe To Take Antibiotics During Pregnancy?

i am 28 weeks pregnent now. suffering from Cough and cold also having poor urinary control while coughing. Taken Piriton CS for the past 3-4 days, but no improvement. Now Dr suggested me to take Azithral 500 for the next 3 days (once a day). Is it safe taking this antibiotic during this stage?
