Is It Safe To Take Toradol And Norco To Treat Abdominal Pain?

I have had severe abdominal pain from a moving kidney stone 2 days ago. I was given an injection of toradol in the emergency room. I was prescribed toradol to be taken for 4 days and norco for pain as needed. The sharp lower abdominal pain has gone. Should I continue to take the toradol for the remaining 2 days. Is this a reasonable treatment for my symptoms?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Toradol is the trade name for an anti inflammatory drug.

If the pain has resolved then it is not necessary to continue the pain medication.

If the pain recurs then you can use additional medications.

I hope this helps
