Is It Safe To Take Sumatriptan While On Naproxen For Headaches?

I have headaches and was given naproxen and was told to take it first as it is slow acting then take sumatriptan as it is fast acting and will be out of my system before the naproxen takes affect. It has been several hours since I took the naproxen and I am wondering if it is still ok to take the sumatriptan and if they would mix well?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, for the headache any analgesic can work equally in same way, here the underlying cause of headache could be matter of concern and most of the time this could be functional in origin and try to come out of this condition, instead of taking another drug, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
